2025 World Juniors Priority Draw

The 2025 World Juniors Priority Ticket Draw is now closed and only select fans who entered the draw will get the opportunity to purchase ticket packages.

Demand for 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship tickets is extremely high and far exceeds availability. A limited number of ticket packages will be made available to the winners of the 2025 World Juniors Priority Ticket Draw and are expected to sell out quickly.

It's too late to enter the Priority Ticket Draw, but fans interested in receiving updates about single-game tickets should they become available can sign up to become a Hockey Canada Insider.

A: The 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship will take place at the Canadian Tire Centre and TD Place in Ottawa from Dec. 26, 2024 to Jan. 5, 2025.

A: Ten countries will play a total of 29 tournament games (excluding pre-tournament games).

A: Team Canada will play four preliminary-round games at the Canadian Tire Centre. If Team Canada qualifies, it will play the quarterfinals, semifinals and medal games at the Canadian Tire Centre as well.

A: Team Canada will play two pre-tournament games at TD Place.

Q: Where will the playoff-round games be played (four quarterfinals, two semifinals, bronze medal game and gold medal game)?

A: Two quarterfinals will be played at TD Place, with the balance of the playoff round played at the Canadian Tire Centre. If Team Canada qualifies, it will play all of its playoff games at the Canadian Tire Centre. Relegation-round games will also be played at the Canadian Tire Centre.

A: Full-event ticket packages for both venues will be available to purchase for those who have been successfully selected from the World Juniors Priority Draw. Single-game tickets will be available at a later date pending available inventory.

Q: What is a Priority Draw?

A: To ensure fair access for all fans, interested parties must enter the World Juniors Priority Draw for the chance to purchase 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship ticket packages. Names will be chosen at random and assigned a designated date and time to access ticket inventory. The draw closes on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MT. Those who are selected will be notified via email.

Q: When will the World Juniors Priority Draw take place?

A: Fans can enter the World Juniors Priority Draw from Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023 through the deadline of Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MT. A random draw will take place from all Priority Draw entrants on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024. Those who are selected for the opportunity to purchase will be notified via email.

Q: Can I enter to purchase ticket packages at both the Canadian Tire Centre and TD Place?

A: Yes, when signing up for the World Juniors Priority Draw, you will receive the option to register for one or two venues.

Q: How many times can I enter the World Juniors Priority Draw?

A: You can enter once per email address.

Q: How will I know if I’ve been selected in the World Juniors Priority Draw for an opportunity to purchase ticket packages?

A: If you are selected in the World Juniors Priority Draw, you will be notified via email. Your email will contain details of when and how to purchase your ticket packages online at a later date.

A: There will be two separate draws, one for each venue’s ticket package. When registering for the World Juniors Priority Draw, you will receive the opportunity to enter for either or both of the draws.

Q: How can I purchase ticket packages?

A: Tickets for the 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship are expected to be in high demand. To ensure fair access to all hockey fans, ticket packages will be made available through a Priority Draw. Hockey fans interested in purchasing tickets must enter the World Juniors Priority Draw at HockeyCanada.ca/Ticketsno later than Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024 at 11:59 P.M. MT. No deposit is required to enter the Priority Draw.

Q: Can I choose my seat location?

A: The online purchase process will allow you to purchase your preferred seat, based on availability.

Q: What payment methods are available?

A: Ticket packages can be paid for by credit card only (MasterCard, Visa, American Express).

Q: Is there a payment plan in place?

A: Yes. The online purchase process will offer two payment options - pay in full, or an interest-free plan (25% initial payment down, with the remaining balance over three equal payments: quarterly on April 1, July 1 and Oct. 1).

Q: How many packages am I able to purchase if I have been selected as a World Juniors Priority Draw winner?

A: For each package you are selected to purchase, you may purchase a maximum of four (4) seats.

Q: If I am successful in purchasing ticket packages, when will I receive the tickets?

A: Your tickets will be available through the respective venue’s ticket account manager. You will be notified via email when tickets are made available.

Q: What is the cost of a ticket package for games played at the Canadian Tire Centre?

A: There are six price levels for the ticket packages at the Canadian Tire Centre. The prices range from $900 per seat to $2,550 per seat, plus fees, depending on seat location.
