NATIONAL WOMEN’S UNDER-22 ROSTER ANNOUNCED

CALGARY – Hockey Canada announced on Sunday its roster of 22 players that will make up Canada’s National Women’s Under-22 team that will play against Canada’s National Women’s Olympic Centralized Team in a three-game series in Calgary at Father David Bauer Arena on August 23, 25, 26, 2005. The games open to the public, no charge.

18 of Canada’s Under-22 players were selected out of 40 players that took part in a Hockey Canada evaluation camp in Calgary, AB from August 15-20.

LISA JORDAN NAMED HEAD COACH OF CANADA’S 2005-06 NATIONAL UNDER-22 TEAM; ASSISTANT COACHES, SUPPORT STAFF AND CAMP ROSTER ALSO NAMED

CANADA’S NATIONAL U-22 CONDITIONING CAMP

CALGARY, AB – The Development and Selection Camp is being held in Calgary, AB from August 12-21. The camp will conclude with a three games versus the National Women’s Team on August 23, 25, and 26.

The Under-22 Team only international competition will be at the European Air Canada Cup in Germany from January 1-8, 2006.
