Noise Makers

  • For students to experiment with sound by creating a noisemaker that they can use to cheer on their favorite team during a hockey game.

Building Equipment

  • Students use their knowledge of building materials to design and build hockey equipment.

Mammal Research #1

  • Students identify different animal “characters” in the Puckster books and learn about their individual characteristics and life cycles.

Mammal Research #2

  • Students identify different animal “characters” in the Puckster books and learn about their individual characteristics and life cycles.
Build a Hockey Rink
  • Students will construct a hockey rink.
  • Students will develop problem solving skills by using materials provided to create their rinks.

Arena Noise

  • Students explore varying levels of sound in a hockey arena and their affects on the human ear.
