Hockey Canada School Program

Introduction

It is with great excitement that we share the Hockey Canada World Juniors School Curriculum and Hockey Canada 100th Anniversary School Program. The goal is to engage students in curriculum-based learning, enthuse them with hockey activities and enrich their knowledge and appreciation of the game of hockey.

This website provides Canadian teachers from coast to coast to coast with lesson plans in all subjects, from Kindergarten to Grade 6. More than 40 lesson plans are now available for Grades 3 to 6 to help students get ready for the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship, taking place in Vancouver and Victoria, B.C., from Dec. 26, 2018 to Jan. 5, 2019. We encourage teachers to use the lesson plans in their classrooms to engage students and generate excitement for Canada’s holiday hockey tradition.

We appreciate your support, and look forward to hearing your feedback about the lessons!
