National Junior Team Returns Home on Wednesday, January 5
GRAND FORKS, ND – Canada’s National Junior team, who is playing Russia in the gold medal game of the 2005 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship on Tuesday, January 4th at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT on TSN/RDS and the FAN radio network, will be returning home to their hometowns/club teams on Wednesday, January 5, 2005.
To best facilitate media requests on-site in Grand Forks after the game on Jan. 4th, we are including the airport arrival itinerary for Team Canada’s players and staff for January 5th, and where and when they may be available for interviews upon arriving to their club team/hometown.
Please note: All flights listed are subject to change time/date, and subject to flight delays and last minute changes. There will be no ‘formal’ press conferences at any of the arrival airports, but players and staff will be available to media. After Canada’s game on January 4th, Team Canada will bus to Winnipeg (estimated arrival in Winnipeg will be after 2am CT). There will be NO media availability upon the team’s arrival in Winnipeg in the early morning hours of January 5th. The players and staff will fly out of Winnipeg airport on January 5th, as per the flight schedule below. Media in Winnipeg may come to the Winnipeg airport prior to player’s departure times, but please respect the amount of time needed for check-in and security for the players departing.
