TOP REGULAR SEASON TEAM – OTTAWA JR. 67’S
One year after coming to within one win of qualifying for the TELUS Cup, losing to Mississauga in the Central
Regional gold medal game, the Ottawa Jr. 67’s have put themselves in position for a return trip to the
regional tournament by comfortably winning the OEMHL regular season crown, finishing nine points up on
Outaouais, helped by a 15-game winning streak from November 27 to February 2 that stretched across more than
half the season. Ottawa’s league-leading offence was paced by Ben Robillard, who finished second in the OEMHL
with 31 goals and fifth with 49 points – the only Jr. 67 to crack the top 10 in scoring. In goal, Ryan
McLaughlin was a remarkable 13-0, while Philip Eberley posted a 10-5 record with a 2.12 goals against
average.
