Hockey Fans in U.S. can Watch IIHF World Championship Live Via Webcast Through Mediazone.Com
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- All 56 games of the International Ice Hockey Federation World Championship, to be held April 30 - May 15 in Innsbruck and Vienna, Austria, will be broadcast live via webcast on a pay-per-view basis at MediaZone.com.
A special discounted package price of $29.99 USD is being offered through , and includes all 56 games. After such date, the package will be available for $39.99.
USA Hockey has partnered with MediaZone to offer a special discount for its members. By going to USAHockey.com and providing the special promotional code when ordering, USA Hockey members will receive the 56-game package for $25.99 (35 percent off the list price). In addition, USA Hockey members may purchase a package that includes all U.S. games for $19.99.
MediaZone’s 2005 IIHF World Championship ice hockey channel will also allow for consumers to purchase games on an individual basis for $4.99 each.
Fans will be able to watch the games live and/or download the high-quality video stream of the games after the live event has concluded.
The U.S. begins play in the 2005 IIHF World Championship on Sunday, May 1, vs. Slovenia. Opening faceoff is set for 4:15 p.m. (10:15 a.m. EDT). The entire U.S. schedule is below.
