Let The Games Begin at Molson Canadian Hockey House

The edict from Hockey Canada president/CEO Bob Nicholson is simple: “Let’s have a party.”

Beginning with Friday night’s Opening Ceremonies right through the men’s hockey gold medal game and Closing Ceremonies on February 28, Molson Canadian Hockey House (MCHH) will be the place to be for hockey fans during the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

Located a slap shot away from Canada Hockey Place in Vancouver, MCHH is one of the largest tent structures ever erected in North America, covering 65,000 square feet with the possibility of hosting more than 3,000 fans every day.

And if ticket sales are any indication, MCHH will be jammed throughout its 17 days in operation - $99 FAN ZONE passes are sold out, except for February 14, and VIP Lounge passes are going fast. Looking for passes? Check out www.molsoncanadianhockeyhouse.com.

So just what is on tap when there isn’t a game on the big screens at MCHH?

How about Paint the Town Red Day on February 14, featuring a number of former Olympic medalists such as Carol Hunyh, Elizabeth Manley and Kyle Shewfelt? What about nightly concerts featuring the likes of Tom Cochrane, Sam Roberts, Suzie McNeil and The Barenaked Ladies? Maybe the opportunity to meet Hockey Canada alumni such as Yvan Cournoyer, Paul Coffey, Cam Neely, Cassie Campbell and Danielle Goyette?

In short, there is always something on the go at Molson Canadian Hockey House, and not just when Canada’s men’s and women’s teams are going for gold! For any hockey fan, it’s an easy decision – get to Molson Canadian Hockey House and be a part of hockey’s home in Vancouver!
