CANADA 4 – USA 3 (OT)
GAME 3 | AUGUST 23RD

Catherine Ward pinched in from the blueline and scored the game-winning goal just 48 seconds into overtime as Canada clinched a win in its three-game series against the United States with a 4-3 win on Saturday morning. Jennifer Wakefield, Emmanuelle Blais and Lauriane Rougeau also scored for Canada in the victory.

 

CANADA 7 – USA 2
GAME 2 | AUGUST 22ND

Two nights after falling behind by three goals after one period, Canada had a three-goal first period of their own on Friday night, getting goals from Emmanuelle Blais, Jennifer Wakefield and Vicky Bendus in the opening 20 minutes en route to a 7-2 win over the United States, evening the three-game series at one win apiece.

 

CANADA 3 - USA 4 (SO)
GAME 1 | AUGUST 20TH

Laura Fridfinnson scored with less than three minutes to go to complete a comeback from 3-0 down, but Canada fell 4-3 in a shootout to the United States on Wednesday night in Pierrefonds, QC. Bailey Bram and Meghan Agosta also scored goals for Canada, who lost for the first time in two years, a span of 14 games.
