SASKATOON CONTACTS CAPTURE GOLD AT THE 2005 TELUS CUP

GATINEAU, QC – The Saskatoon Contacts (West) have captured the inaugural TELUS Cup National Midget Championship with a 4-1 win over the host team, Gatineau.

Nick Kalnicki led the way for Saskatoon as he had one goal and two assists, including the game winning goal on a power play. » more

 

 

QUEBEC TAKES BRONZE

CENTRAL 4 - QUEBEC 7

With both teams coming off heartbreaking losses in the semi-final less than 24 hours earlier, the Levis Commandeurs took on the Don Mills Flyers in the Bronze Medal game. In their previous meeting in the tournament, the Commandeurs downed Don Mills 3-1.  Don Mills started strong and had most of the early chances. Their strong fore-check resulted in a goal when captain James Murdoch made a great pass to Kyle Ventura in front and he out-waited Bobby Nadeau and backhanded it in for a 1-0 Flyers lead. » more
