Team Slovakia had five different goal scorers and held a 4-0 lead at one point in the third period, but Germany broke their shut out bid at 11:07 of the third, on a power play, to end up with Slovakia taking a 5-1 victory. This was Germany’s first game of the event, while Slovakia is now 1-1-0 in two games
