Facts and figures on the two teams facing off in the RBC Cup championship game, and on how 131 teams became two

The 2015-16 season comes to an end Sunday for the Canadian Junior Hockey League, with two teams – the host Lloydminster Bobcats and West Kelowna Warriors – remaining in the chase for the RBC Cup.

But how did those two teams, and the rest of the CJHL, get to the championship game? And how do the Bobcats and Warriors match up?

ROAD TO THE RBC CUP

262 – Days between the first regular-season game (Oakville Rangers vs. Burlington Cougars in the Ontario Junior Hockey League) on Sept. 4, 2015 and the RBC Cup final on Sunday.

4,189 – Regular season (3,699) and playoff (490) games necessary for 131 teams to become two on the Road to the RBC Cup.

29,194 – Goals scored in the regular season (26,075) and playoffs (3,119) by the 131 teams across the CJHL, an average of 6.97 goals per game.
