Sidney Crosby's White Game Worn Jersey Back Up for Auction at Ebay Canada; Other Game Worn Items Re-Listed

CALGARY, AB – Hockey Canada announced on Thursday that due to the safe return of Sidney Crosby’s game worn red jersey from the gold medal game of the 2005 World Juniors, Crosby’s game worn ‘white’ Team Canada jersey will be re-listed for auction at www.ebay.ca beginning Friday morning, January 14.

Along with the white game worn Crosby jersey, Hockey Canada will also re-list other Team Canada World Junior game worn items (jerseys, gloves, helmets) from various World Junior Team Canada players that were bid on, but not purchased, in last week’s auction.  See www.hockeycanada.ca or www.ebay.ca for a full list of the game worn Team Canada World Junior items up for bid.

Net proceeds from all items auctioned will be split 50/50 between the Canadian Hockey Foundation and the South Asian Relief Fund Efforts.

The Canadian Hockey Foundation provides a new source of secure, sustainable, long term funding to support the future development and delivery of Hockey Canada programs, projects, and activities.
