International Scouting Services selects its Players to Watch at the 2016 RBC Cup

Who will be looked upon in the dying minutes of a tie game? Who will be counted upon to provide leadership on the long road to a national title? Who will make the key pass? Score the big goal? Make the huge save?

International Scouting Services has selected three players from each of the five teams competing in Lloydminster, Alta./Sask., that it believes are players to watch at the 2016 RBC Cup.

BROOKS

Derek Lodermeier
go-to player in all situations … competes hard … positionally strong … reads the play very well … makes smart decisions with and without the puck … strong on the boards

Cale Makar
smooth-skating defenceman … good intelligence … poised with the puck … hard shot that gets to the net … good feel for the game … shows confidence with the puck

Jeff Malott
big kid who can skate well … long, powerful stride … willing to drive to the net … blocks shots … competes hard … uses speed to his advantage on the forecheck … smart

CARLETON PLACE

Jordan Larson
high hockey IQ … tremendous leadership skills … creative player … strong, fast and agile … moves the puck very well on the PP … makes smart decisions off the rush

Colton Point
big body that covers the net … moves well for his size … good rebound control … covers the bottom of the net well … plays with confidence … gets in front of shooters

Bryce Van Horn
