TOP REGULAR SEASON TEAM – GAULOIS DU COLLÈGE ANTOINE-GIROUARD
The Gaulois du Collège Antoine-Girouard came out on top of a two-horse race for the LHMAAAQ’s regular season title, finishing two points up on Collège Esther-Blondin for first place thanks to six wins in seven games to close out the season. While the Gaulois’ offence was impressive, scoring the third-most goals in the league, it was their defence that was the big story, allowing a league-low 112 goals. Netminders Philippe Cadorette and Philippe Desrosiers both posted sub-3.00 GAAs, with Cadorette’s 2.13 leading the league, and the two finished second and third in wins. Gabryel Paquin-Boudreau was the offensive leader; his 33 goals were the league’s second-best total, and his 58 points placed him sixth in the LHMAAAQ.
