HUMBOLDT, Sask. – With less than six weeks to go before the puck drops at the 2012 RBC Cup, a limited number of ticket packages are still available for Canada’s National Junior A Championship, May 5-13 at the Elgar Petersen Arena.

A full-tournament ticket package for all 13 games, including the semifinals and nationally-televised championship game, is available for only $175 (plus applicable fees) by clicking HERE.

The host committee has announced single-game tickets will go on sale beginning April 30. Preliminary round games and the semifinals will be available for $16, while tickets for the championship game will sell for $26 each.

The 2012 RBC Cup will bring together four regional champions (Pacific, West, Central and East), along with the host Humboldt Broncos, to face off for the national championship. The Broncos are two-time RBC Cup champions (2003, 2008) and will look to become just the third team in the tournament’s 42-year history to win at least three national titles.

The championship game will be broadcast on TSN/RDS, official broadcasters of Hockey Canada, on Sunday, May 13. Please check your local listings for broadcast times in your area. All other games, including the preliminary round and semifinals, will be available via webcast at hockeycanada.fasthockey.com.

“The countdown is on in Humboldt, and you can feel the excitement in the city as May 5 approaches,” said Kevin Dow, co-chair of the 2012 RBC Cup host committee. “An event like this wouldn’t be possible without our tremendous corporate sponsors, and the hundreds of volunteers who are giving their time to make this the best RBC Cup ever.”

Playoff hockey has now begun in each of the Canadian Junior Hockey League’s 10 member leagues. To follow the Road to the RBC Cup, please visit www.HockeyCanada.ca/RBCCup, or follow along through social media at www.Facebook.com/RBCCup and www.Twitter.com/HC_RBCCup.
