The countdown is on: only six months until the first puck drops for the 2009 IIHF World Junior Championship. Ten teams from across the globe will meet in Ottawa to play for a chance to take home international gold.

While the schedule is set, it’s the close to 2,000 volunteers that will make the difference behind the scenes, showing not only the athletes but the world that Ottawa is a true hockey city. The Volunteer Division is extremely proud to have so many people offering their time to be part of the team, representing your city and your country as Ottawa hosts its first ever IIHF World Junior Championship.

Volunteer selection will start later this summer! Make sure your information is accurate so we can keep in touch and match you with a volunteer position.
