National Women's Teams From Across World Begin Arriving in Canada in Preparation Of 2000 Women's World Hockey Championship

CALGARY, AB - National Women's Teams from across the world have started to arrive in Canada for final preparations for the 2000 IIHF Women's World Hockey Championship in Mississauga, ON from April 3-9, 2000.

National teams from Canada, China, Finland, Germany, Japan, Russia and Sweden will all be conducting training camps in a number of Ontario communities. Team USA will continue to train in Lake Placid, NY and arrive just prior to the opening of the Championship.
