MONTREAL, QC - B The final National Under 22 team roster was chosen Monday from twenty-eight players who attended the NIKE Skills Development Under 22 Selection camp in Montreal. The National Under 22 team will now play a three game series versus the USA in Lake Placid, NY, the Canadian Hockey Association announced Monday.

Six players were released from the NIKE selection camp on Monday were: Anik Bouchard, Bradi Cochrane, Leanne Martell, Sara Matheson, Natalie Pellerin and Robyn Rittmaster,. The final roster of twenty-two players will face Team USA in three exhibition games August 25, 26 and 28th in Lake Placid, NY.

"After completing a intense week of training and competition, it was very difficult for the coaching staff to select the final twenty two player roster", said Julie Healy, Canada's National Under 22 team head coach. "Through our on-going player evaluations, we are confident that we have assembled the best twenty two players that will compete against the USA."

Head coach Julie Healy and assistants Bill Bowker and Nancy Wilson will lead the team as they travel on August 24 to Lake Placid, NY for the three game series.

"We are happy with the skill level that was shown from our young prospects at the NIKE Skills Development Select camp this past week," said Gaetan Robitaille, General Manager of Women's High Performance Programs for the CHA. "The effort of promoting skill development in women's hockey at the Branch and National levels is evident in our up and coming players for the women's program."
