VANCOUVER – Hockey Canada has again teamed up with eBay Canada to offer game worn Team Canada jerseys, helmets and gloves of Canada’s 2006 World Junior team from the 2006 IIHF World Junior Championship in Vancouver.

Hockey fans across Canada and the World have the opportunity to bid on these unique game worn items at ebay.ca and www.hockeycanada.ca beginning December 29th, for a 10 day auction ending on Sunday, January 8th, 2006.

These eBay items are all one of a kind and game worn by Team Canada’s players, and all items come with a letter of authenticity from Hockey Canada.

Net proceeds raised through this 2006 World Junior auction go to the Canadian Hockey Foundation. The Canadian Hockey Foundation provides a new source of secure, sustainable, long term funding to support the future development and delivery of Hockey Canada programs, projects and activities.

Last year’s Team Canada World Junior auction raised over $120,000 for South Asian relief and the Canadian Hockey Foundation.
