Sherwood Park, (Alberta) A little over two months to go before the start of the 2004 Esso Women's National Hockey Championship in Sherwood Park, and the support from corporate sponsors is growing. To date, nine area sponsors have already come on board.

"We are very pleased with the response from the community so far," said Shelley Tobo-Gaudreau, Co Chair of the 2004 Host Committee. "Bring on the Best is the theme for this year's Championship, and local support is the key to ensuring that Sherwood Park and Strathcona County show Canada the best our community has to offer.

There are a variety of opportunities still available for companies and organizations to come on board and show their support for this premier event. Interested groups are encouraged to contact Grant McPeak, Director of Sponsorship and Ticket Sales.
