Cheerios and Betty Crocker to Host Team Canada Rally and Breakfast Prior to Women's World Championship Semi-final

MISSISSAUGA, ON - Hockey fans and the general public are invited to attend a free breakfast and Team Canada Rally on Saturday morning, 10am to 12noon in the Hershey Centre parking lot, courtesy of Cheerios, Betty Crocker and the 2000 IIHF Women's World Championship host committee.

Celebrities will be serving pancakes on Saturday morning at the Team Canada Rally. They include Mayor of the City of Mississauga Hazel McCallion and Toronto Maple Leafs President Ken Dryden.

Canada will be taking on Finland at 1:00pm ET at the Hershey Centre in a semi-final game. The rally and breakfast will take place in the Hershey Centre parking lot prior to the game.

Also, the public is invited to visit the 'Oh Henry Family Fun Zone' located at the Community Rink at the Hershey Centre. The 'Family Fun Zone', features interactive games, the 'Legends of Hockey' display featuring the history of women's hockey courtesy of the Hockey Hall of Fame and a Royal Bank Toonie Toss booth.

A mural is also being painted in the Oh Henry Family Fun Zone, and depicts the past, present and future of women's hockey.

The Oh Henry Family Fun Zone is free of charge to the public, and is open from 10:00am Saturday, and from noon on Sunday at the Hershey Centre.

Tickets for both the Canada/Finland semi-final game at 1:00pm, and the USA/Sweden semi-final at 7:00pm are available at the Hershey Centre box office and at all Ticketmaster outlets, or by calling the Ticketmaster charge by phone line at 416-872-5000.
