Team Canada Returns Home From 1999 World Championship After Fourth Place Finish

LILLEHAMMER, NORWAY -- Team Canada returns to Canada on Sunday, May 16th following its fourth place finish at the 1999 World Hockey Championship.

Team Canada was defeated by Sweden 3-2 in Saturday's Bronze medal game at Hakans Hall in Lillehammer at the World Hockey Championship.

The team leaves Oslo, Norway early Sunday morning, May 16th, and arrives at Toronto's Pearson Airport at 3:35 pm on Air Canada Flight 857.

Several players and staff will be made available to media at that time. Please note that a number of players will not be available as they will be on connecting flights to various destinations.
