Game Story

Emmy Fecteau (Saint-Georges, Que./Concordia University, RSEQ), Claire Thompson (Toronto, Ont./Princeton University, ECAC) and Maggie Connors (St. John’s, N.L./Princeton University, ECAC) scored in a span of 3:48 in the second period, and Red erased an early two-goal deficit to edge Japan 4-2 on Thursday afternoon at the BFL National Women’s Development Team Selection Camp. Amy Potomak (Aldergrove, B.C./University of Minnesota, WCHA) added an empty-net goal for Red, which withstood a terrific 48-save performance from Japanese goaltender Nana Fujimoto to earn the victory.
