Game Story

Alex Newhook (St. John’s, N.L./Boston College, HE) scored midway through the first period, but the WJC hopefuls closed Canada’s National Junior Team Sport Chek Selection Camp with a 2-1 loss to the U SPORTS all-stars on Tuesday afternoon. Mathew Santos and Trevor Cox provided offence within the first 11 minutes for the university side, which limited the Canadians to just 12 shots on goal.
