After falling behind 2-0, Canada has rebounded with four straight goals to take a 4-2 lead over Sweden after two periods of play.

Brad Boyes and Garth Murray scored in the second period giving Canada a two goal lead over Sweden in their quarterfinal game .

After 15 minutes of scoreless play in the first period, Joel Lundqvist gave Sweden a 1-0 lead and less than a minute later, Magnus Hedlund made it 2-0 on the power play.

But Canada responded in when Mike Cammalleri scored a goal just 23 seconds after Sweden's second goal. Then Canadian team captain Jarret Stoll tied the game 2-2 with a goal late in the first period.

In the second period, Brad Boyes tipped in a shot by Jay Bouwmeester on the power play to put Canada in front for the first time in the game. Garth Murray took a feed from Scottie Upshall and converted on the opportunity to give Canada a 4-2 lead.
