Vanessa Verbitsky and Tyra Meropoulis led the way with two goals each, Brianna Sank made 16 saves for the shutout and the St. Albert Slash pulled away in the last 40 minutes to blank Metro Boston Pizza 8-0 at the 2018 Esso Cup.
