CALGARY, Alta. – Nearly one year after working with Hockey Canada on the successful launch of the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) 3.0, Spordle has been announced as the organization’s official registration partner through 2026.

Launched in June 2021, HCR 3.0 became the universal platform for managing all Hockey Canada participant registration. The new platform supports over 2,800 local hockey associations across the country that participate in Hockey Canada-sanctioned programs on an annual basis.

As part of the multi-year agreement, Spordle will donate proceeds from each registration to the Hockey Canada Foundation, which is committed to removing barriers to the game and providing resources and tools to better equip kids, parents and coaches to participate in hockey.

“We are extremely proud and honoured to work with Hockey Canada,” said Lyno T. Côté, president and chief executive officer of Spordle. “This partnership will not only help the hockey community with registration but will also give back through the Hockey Canada Foundation.”

Founded in 2009, Spordle provides specialized technology solutions that adapt to the needs of thousands of organizations in the sport industry.

“Spordle has done a lot to help amateur sport across Canada, and we are pleased to continue working with them as part of this partnership,” said Pat McLaughlin, senior vice-president of strategy, operations and brand for Hockey Canada. “HCR 3.0 is focused on the customer, provides a better platform for participants and will help us continue to deliver improved experiences across all aspects of the game.”
