Canada’s National Para Hockey Team opened up the International Para Hockey Cup with a 3-0 shutout of Czechia
at RT Torax Arena on Saturday.
Liam Hickey (St. John’s, N.L.)
Mathieu Lelièvre (Lévis, Que.)
scored the insurance marker for his first international
Dominic Cozzolino (Mississauga, Ont.), James Dunn (Wallacetown,
and Saoud Messaoudi (Saint-Hubert, Que.) each had
assists, with Messaoudi recording his first international point.
Jean-François Huneault (Saint-Eustache, Que.)
made 13 saves for the shutout.
Canada outshot Czechia 25-13.
