PRINCE GEORGE – When Prince George hosts the nation at the 2007 RBC Royal Bank Cup, it will be with the

Host Committee Co Chair Dan Rogers says the committee is excited to welcome RE/MAX to the growing list of
sponsors for the 2007 RBC Royal Bank Cup, and expects to have more announcements in the near future.

excited about aligning themselves with this great national championship,” says Rogers.
The RE/MAX partnership was announced today as the host committee unveiled street banners which will be
hung along 15th Avenue to promote the 2007 RBC Royal Bank Cup and the event sponsors.
With the RBC Royal Bank Cup less than six months away, the committee is working hard to ensure the 2007
event is the best ever in the event’s history. “We are in the process of building our volunteer committees
and going through the planning that hosting this type of major event requires,” says Rogers. “We are
confident that we will achieve our mission of hosting the best ever RBC Royal Bank Cup.”
The 2007 RBC Royal Bank Cup National Junior A Hockey Championship will take place May 5-13, 2007 in Prince
George. It is expected to draw hockey fans from across the country, with the final game televised live on
TSN. The impact of this event for the local economy is estimated to be close to $1.5 million.
