TOP REGULAR SEASON TEAM – MONCTON FLYERS The Moncton Flyers have claimed top spot in the NBPEIMMHL for the second year in a row, and the sixth time in seven seasons. It was a tight race between the Flyers and Kensington Wild for first place, but the Flyers rattled off 12 straight wins to finish their season to clinch the regular-season title, finishing two points ahead of Kensington. The Flyers allowed a league-low 71 goals, while ranking No. 3 with 139 goals. Lukas Cormier led Moncton in scoring with 43 points (15G 28A), good for fourth in the NBPEIMMHL, while netminders Daniel Thompson (1.91) and Brandon McKenna (2.02) finished first and second, respectively, in goals-against average, and co-led the league with three shutouts.
