TOP REGULAR SEASON TEAM – LETHBRIDGE HURRICANES
The Lethbridge Hurricanes are AMHL regular-season champions, finishing a complete 180 that saw them go from bottom of the league in 2017 to the title in 2018. It was a two-team race all season between Lethbridge and the Red Deer Chiefs; despite the Hurricanes opening the season on a 20-game unbeaten run, it went right down to the wire, with both teams finishing with 24-5-6 records. Lethbridge, led by No. 2 scorer Ridly Greig (24-30—54) and standout goaltending from Carl Tetachuk (15-2-1, 1.81 GAA, 6 SO), came out on top thanks to wins in both head-to-head meetings with the Chiefs.
