TOP REGULAR SEASON TEAM – BLIZZARD DU SÉMINAIRE SAINT-FRANÇOIS
The last Quebec team to win the TELUS Cup (in 2001, when they were known as the Gouverneurs de Ste-Foy), the Blizzard du Séminaire Saint-François did just about everything well this season to finish atop the LHMAAAQ; they led the league in power play (25.3%) and penalty kill (87.9%), were second in goals scored (170) and third in goals against (106). The Blizzard had a league-best 16 wins on home ice, and their 13 road victories were tied for top spot. Séminaire Saint-François took control of the league early, posting 17 wins in 19 games after a season-opening loss. Jakob Pelletier paced the Blizzard up front, finishing fourth in LHMAAAQ scoring with 57 points (25G 32A), while goaltender Philippe Gaudreault co-led the league with 18 wins, and finished fifth in goals-against average (2.33) and save percentage (.923).
