Roster Change Announced for National Junior Team Selection Camp

CALGARY, Alta. – Hockey Canada was advised on Tuesday that Cody Hodgson (Markham, Ont./Brampton, OHL) will not attend the National Junior Team selection camp, December 12-16 in Regina, Sask., and will not take part in the 2010 IIHF World Junior Championship.

Under the care and advice of his physician, Hodgson has not sufficiently recovered from a previous injury to play at the high level necessary to represent Canada on the international stage.

Hodgson was a member of Canada’s 2009 National Junior Team, earning a gold medal in Ottawa.
