CALGARY, Alta. – Canada’s National Women’s Team will play the Calgary Canucks on Saturday, December 5, marking the first time Canada will face off against a Junior A team. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. MT at the Max Bell Centre, the home of the Alberta Junior Hockey League team.

The game will also serve as the Canucks’ annual charity event in support of The Salvation Army. The team is asking fans to bring new AA, AAA, C, D and nine-volt batteries that can be used to help children enjoy their Christmas gifts. For every battery donated, fans will receive a ticket for a draw with dozens of prizes.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for students and seniors, and are available at the Max Bell Centre ticket office during Calgary Canucks home games. Children under 12 are admitted for free when accompanied by an adult.
