CALGARY, AB – Canada’s National Men’s Sledge Hockey Team will play host to Team USA at the front end of a
home-and-home exhibition series between January 24th and 28th in London, ON.
Hockey Canada announced on Thursday that Canada and the USA will play three games as part of the London
Blizzard Invitational Sledge Hockey Tournament. The tournament itself includes 22 intermediate and 12 junior
teams, and will be played at the Western Fair Sports Centre.
To complete the home-and-home exhibition series, Canada’s National Sledge Hockey Team will be traveling to
Park City, Utah from February 15th-18th to face Team USA.
These six games against Team USA over the coming months will help Team Canada prepare for the World Sledge
Hockey Challenge, which is scheduled for March 11th-17th in Kelowna, BC.
Team Canada goes into this exhibition series with a 4-1-1 record during the 2006-07 season, having played
games in Germany and Norway in November.
