Mike Bruni (Chair): A lawyer for over 40 years currently with the firm Bruni Law. For several decades worked for the regulatory body for the Energy Industry in Alberta as General Counsel, Head of Energy Operations and Board Member with responsibility for realignment and governance initiatives for regulatory and adjudicative reform. In parallel to his professional career, has extensive leadership involvement with many Not-for-Profit organizations as Chair, Board member and governance advisor including several nominating committees for sport and non-sport organizations across the country. Served two 3 year terms as a Board member on the Sports Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada and participated in the process leading to the creation of the Sports Integrity Commissioner. Served as Chair of Hockey Canada and President of Hockey Alberta. In the 90’s was the co-creator of the Respect in Hockey, Turning Point, and Game and Conduct Management initiatives for Calgary and Alberta. Has been an NSO representative on the Canadian Olympic Committee and the International Ice Hockey Federation. Served on the Disciplinary Board of the IIHF. Currently is the President of the Marda Loop Business Improvement Area in Calgary.

Alain Deschamps: Vice-President of Sportcom. Until recently, held the position of Vice-President of Member Services for the Network of the Association of Construction Professionals of Quebec with 19,000 members. For nearly eight years, he was in charge of the general management of SPORTSQUÉBEC, bringing together 65+ provincial sport federations. He actively contributed to the advancement of the Quebec sports system: professionalization of the permanent staff by contributing to the establishment of the Microprogram in sports management of the Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC); supported the creation of Sport’Aide, SportBienÊtre and the JePortePlainte site focused on whistleblowing and integrity in sport; contributed to various sports development committees such as: the Table for a physically active lifestyle, the recent National Sport and Physical Activity Policy – Au Québec on bouge! and the Canadian Council of Provincial and Territorial Sports Federations (CCPTSF). Previous positions include the Director of Operations for the Canadian Cancer Society, work for Centraide of Greater Montreal and the Americas Branch of Cirque du Soleil. A spouse for 22 years and father of two boys, Alain values integrity, respect and commitment and embodies these values on a daily basis.

Jane Hu: Currently the Executive Director, Cycling Without Age Canada and an Executive Coach. As Vice President of Ideaca Knowledge Services, she led the organization from start-up to over 350 employees across Canada. Prior to that she was a Director at Price Waterhouse Coopers. With over 25 years of experience Jane has lead teams, programs, and projects on a local, national and global scale. Known for her dedication to developing people and commitment to fairness for all, she's had the opportunity to participate in various advisory committees, including the establishment of first disciplinary committee in her hockey association.

Susan Kitchen: Previously employed as Executive Director of the Coaches Association of Ontario from startup in 2002 through to 2018. Served as member of various government advisory panels focused on concussion legislation, increasing participation of women in sport and Provincial Sport governance. Served for 6 years on the Sport Dispute Resolution of Canada Board of Directors and as Vice-Chair on the Board for the Coaching Association of Canada. Inducted in the Welland Community Sport Wall of Fame in 2018 and a torch bearer for the Canada Summer Games 2022. Susan was instrumental in landing the bid to host the 2023 World Rowing Indoor Championships in Canada and currently chairs the Local Organizing Committee.

William (Mick) Ryan: Senior Partner at Stewart McKelvey and member of New Brunswick Barristers’ Society. An accomplished arbitrator and mediator on the appeal panel for Atlantic University Sports relating to disciplinary matters. Served as Chair for 2 years and Member for 4 years on the Board of Directors for the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada. Served as a Board member for Basketball Canada and was a gold medalist at the World Masters Games in 2013 in the sport of basketball. Remains very active in various sports and has a firm understanding of athletics, coaching and the problems that sometimes emanate therefrom.

Kallie Wood: Senior Indigenous Advisor with the Government of Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture, Kallie specializes in building relationships, policy, programs and strategy in engagement both internally and externally. She is also the CEO and owner of Converging Pathways, focused on bridging the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples and advancing Indigenous opportunities. Kallie has given countless hours to not-for-profit organizations and sits on several Boards across the country. She is no stranger to Canada’s game thanks to her children and grandchildren.

Anthony Wright: Regional Vice President of Indigenous Wealth at RBC Royal Trust, where he is a trusted partner working closely with Indigenous governments. Prior to this role, Anthony articled at a national law firm and was a member of Canada’s field hockey team that won a gold medal at the 2007 Pan Am Games and competed at the 2008 Olympic Games. As the third generation of his family to represent Canada in an Olympic games, Anthony continues to be an advocate for sport currently as a Director of the Canadian Sport Institute Pacific and previously as a Director of the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada.
