2013 IPC World Sledge Ice Hockey Championship

Canada’s National Sledge Team opens its quest for a third IPC Sledge Hockey World Championship gold medal when it takes on Italy on Saturday morning in Goyang, South Korea.
Graeme Murray scored the lone goal while Corbin Watson recorded the shutout as Canada won world championship gold for the first time since 2008 after defeating the United States 1-0 in Goyang, Korea.
Greg Westlake scored a pair of goals to lead Canada’s National Sledge Team into the gold medal game at the IPC World Sledge Championship after a 5-0 win over the Czech Republic in the semifinal.
Brad Bowden scored twice and Corbin Watson recorded his second straight shutout leading Canada to a 5-0 win over Korea securing top spot in group B at the IPC World Sledge Hockey Championship.
In their first ever meeting, Canada defeated Russia 4-3 at the IPC World Sledge Hockey Championship. Brad Bowden led the team with two goals and an assist as Canada improves to 2-0 in preliminary play.
Adam Dixon and Brad Bowden each had four points while Corbin Watson netted the shutout for the National Sledge Team, which picked up a 5-0 win over Italy in its first game at the World Championship.
