2017-18 National Junior Team
Trevor Letowski is stepping back behind the bench as an assistant coach with Canada’s National Junior Team for the 2017-18 season, replacing NHL-bound Kris Knoblauch.
The road to the 2018 World Juniors begins in Plymouth, Mich., while Canada’s U17 and U18 hopefuls will gather in Calgary.
Thirty U17, U18 and U20 puck-stoppers will take to the ice June 9-11 for the annual Program of Excellence goaltending camp.
Joël Bouchard, Bruce Hamilton and Steve Staios will oversee the U20, U18 and U17 programs, respectively, next season.
Head coach Dominique Ducharme, alongside assistants Tim Hunter and Kris Knoblauch, will be back behind the bench in 2018.
