Proceeds to Canadian Hockey Foundation and funding for Canada’s Women’s team for 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Torino, Italy

CALGARY – From Tuesday April 5th until Tuesday, April 12th Hockey Canada is auctioning off one set of Team Canada game worn white jerseys on eBay.ca.  The jerseys are being, worn at the 2005 IIHF World Women’s Hockey Championship currently  taking place in Sweden until April 9.

(All?) Proceeds from this Team Canada World Women’s auction on eBay Canada will go to the Canadian Hockey Foundation, and to Canada’s Women’s team which will assist in team funding for the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Torino, Italy.

The Canadian Hockey Foundation provides a new source of secure, sustainable, long term funding to support the future development and delivery of Hockey Canada programs, projects, and activities.
