2005 World Under 17 Hockey Challenge is Pleased to Announce The Corb Lund Band Will Perform at The Opening Ceremonies!

LETHBRIDGE, Alberta – Lethbridge Minor Hockey Association and the World Under 17 Hockey Challenge 2005 announce that a little bit of country, Southern Alberta style will welcome fans to the World Under 17 Hockey Challenge on prior to the opening ceremonies.

The Corb Lund Band will perform for 25 minutes before Team Pacific takes on Team Quebec.  ENMAX doors open at 6:15pm.

The Corb Lund Band were winners of the “Roots Artist Group of the Year” & “Independent Group of the Year” at the 2004 Canadian Country Music Awards.

Corb Lund is a southern Alberta boy, born and raised in Taber and plays rootsy, lyrically based music.

The opening ceremony show will be produced by Ron Sakamoto of Gold & Gold Productions.
