Pre-Competition Ticket Packages

Halifax, NS. Fred MacGillivray, Event Chair, 2003 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship, announced a pre-competition game package that is sure to please all hockey fans! This package costs $75.00 and includes one ticket for each of the following games:

December 12 & 13 - Red & White Inter-squad Games - Halifax Metro Centre - 6:10 pm

December 14 & 15 - Canada vs. AUS All-Stars - Halifax Metro Centre - 6:10 pm

December 21 - SWE vs. GER - Halifax Metro Centre - 7:00 pm

December 22 - CZE vs. SVK - Halifax Metro Centre - 7:00 pm

December 23 - CAN vs. FIN - Halifax Metro Centre - 8:00 pm

Stated MacGillivray, "The world-class hockey action won’t be just in Halifax! We have finalized arrangements for pre- competition camps and exhibition games in Amherst, Truro, New Glasgow and Antigonish making this truly a Nova Scotia event." Games are as follows:

December 21 - SUI vs. CZE - Amherst - 1:00 pm

December 22 - FIN vs. SUI - Truro - 7:00 pm

December 22 - BLR vs. GER - Antigonish - 7:00 pm

December 23 - SWE vs. USA - New Glasgow - 7:00 pm

Honourary Community Chairs were appointed as follows: Premier John Hamm will serve as Honourary Chair in New Glasgow, Minister Jamie Muir in Truro, Minister Ernie Fage in Amherst, and Minister Angus MacIssac in Antigonish.

MacGillivray added: "It has always been our intention to share the celebration and benefits of the World Juniors, and these additional games help us accomplish that objective!"
