CROSBY NAMED TOP FORWARD OF 2006 MEN'S WORLDS AND TO ALL-STAR TEAM

Niklas Kronwall of Sweden was named tournament MVP for Riga 2006 by the IIHF.

The IIHF Directorate Award winners have also been released. They are as follows:

BEST GOALIE: Johan Holmqvist (SWE)
BEST DEFENSEMAN: Niklas Kronwall (SWE)
BEST FORWARD: Sidney Crosby (CAN)

The Media All-Star Team was also announced:
