MEN’S NATIONAL TEAM NAMES ROSTER FOR 2004 SPENGLER CUP

CALGARY, AB – Hockey Canada announced Wednesday Team Canada’s rosters for 2004 Spengler Cup being held in Davos, Switzerland from Dec.26-31

Canada is the two time defending champions for the Spengler Cup, which is held annually in Davos, Switzerland and is the oldest continual club tournament in the world. This year’s tournament takes place from December 26-31, 2004 at the Davos Arena.

Last year, in the 2003 Spengler Cup final, Canada defeated the host team, HC Davos, 7-4. Canada finished last year’s tournament with a 4-1 record. Overall, Canada has captured ten Spengler Cup Championships in the event’s 77-year existence, including a four-year run from 1995-1998, and two consecutively 2003-2004.» more
