Canada falls 5-2 to Finland, will play Sweden for bronze

For the second year in a row, Canada's junior hockey players will play for bronze, shower, and watch others play for precious gold as they wonder what might have been.

Finland's 5-2 semifinal win Wednesday over Canada sent it to the final of the world championship, leaving Canada to play Sweden in the game to decide third and fourth places.

"I thought our team played well and I thought we were disciplined," Canadian coach Stan Butler told TSN. "I think it's about time people start to realize that there's 22 kids in there right now who are in tears and this means more to them than anything. "You can't be hard on them all the time. People back home should applaud those kids and if they do anything less than that, then they're not true Canadians."
