The Nova Scotia Senior Women's Hockey Team is made up from players from all over the province. We have had very little time together in pre-tournament competition but are ready, willing and able to compete. Our players levels range from Bantam AAA, Prep Schools and Canadian University. We like to think of our team as a hardworking “workboot” and “hardhat” type of team with no individuals. We have a well-balanced team from our
goaltending out, and have a well-balanced scoring attack from our defence to our forwards. Our team will hopefully prove that it can adapt to most styles of play, waiting for the breaks to score. We have eight returning players from our last year's team. The majority of our players are young and new to the national experience and are looking forward to the tournament. We hope this group will gel together as a team as the tournament goes on and that we will have a respectful showing. The coaching staff have found the players to produce an eager group to work with both on and off the ice and know they will be a fun and competitive team to coach throughout the tournament. Our team motto for the tournament will continue to be “success is determined by how determined you are to succeed”. We are looking forward to enjoying a safe, fun and competitive tournament and wish the same for all teams.
