As part of the Olympic Oval’s high performance program, the Oval X-Treme Team has trained technically, tactically, mentally, and physiologically. With only four returning players from last season (the rest have joined the national team or college teams), the team may be young, but they are certainly hungry and ambitious. The X-Treme started the season feeling like underdogs, but they have definitely come out on top, with a highly successful season. They boast a stellar 15-1 win/loss record, making it all the way to the National Championship. Victory also came for the team as they won the Cameron Cup series against the Edmonton Chimos. The Oval X-Treme Team is coached by an experienced group including Kathy Berg, Tomas Pacina, Tracey Luhowy, Allison Ramsley and Corey Wolychow.
