2005 National U18 Club Championship

The Cole Harbour McCain Midgets garnered the top seed in the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League based on a 25 - 9 - 1 record during the 35 game regular season. In the opening round of the playoffs, Cole Harbour swept South Shore three games to none. A second round series against a strong Cape Breton West club resulted in a 3 - 1 series win. Matched against Nova Scotia powerhouse, the Dartmouth Subways, for the league championship, the McCain Midgets prevailed through a grueling seven game series. The first six games of the series were all one-goal games with Cole Harbour winning game seven with an explosive 6 - 0 vistory.
