The technology behind the Hockey Canada Century Tour

November 1, 2014

We are really lucky to have some great sponsors for the Hockey Canada Century Tour. Each one brings something different to the tour, creating a unique hockey experience for fans from coast to coast to coast.

Our friends at Samsung Canada play a special role in the travelling caravan. Their technology powers a lot of the activities inside the Century Tour trailer, giving us an array of interactive options.

The video wall has clips of the defining moments in the 100 years of Hockey Canada.

At the tablet stations, fans can learn why and where to play the game, and create their own Hockey Canada jersey or player card.

When the Century Tour rolled into WinSport’s Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, Alta., during Canada’s national under-17 development camp in August, the players took time out from their busy schedules to check out the caravan.

Have you visited the Hockey Canada Century Tour caravan and tried the technology? If so, tweet @HockeyCanada with the hashtag #CenturyTour and share your photos!
