TOP REGULAR SEASON TEAM – METRO BOSTON PIZZA
Thanks to one more tick in the win column than the Northern Selects, Metro Boston Pizza claimed its sixth straight NSFMAAAHL regular season title. After three straight years of double-digit point differentials in the standings, this was the closest race since Metro won by three points in 2010-11. In a season that saw the same parity among the scoring leaders, Metro had only three of the top 10 point-getters, but six of its players reached double digit in points, most of any team. Among them were Jenna Pellerin, who had a team-best three game-winning goals among her league-best 14 markers, and Alyssa MacNeill, the lone Metro skater remaining from the team that advanced to the 2013 Esso Cup. Goaltender Terra Lanteigne led the league with a .900 winning percentage, and she (1.20) and teammate Josée Thibeau (1.36) finished two-three in goals-against average.
